Students should have clarity in what you writing and understand vocabulary being used what you write for one student will not work for the other. This can be seen on rubric, directly written on work, and notes taken during a presentation from student. Make clear annotations the learner can comprehend.

Same concept as written feedback when and where is important. This can be done in class, outside of class, quickly and quietly, during group work, and during conferences. Students need to understand what is being said and receive the information. This can also be affective during a reteach of a lesson.

This can be seen as reflection of feedback. Does student understand the information and has teacher asked questions to confirm? Once confirmation has been confirmed that lesson was understood and feedback was effective reflect on how this will help in the next lesson for further learning.

Was feedback effective in teaching the student. Student needs to be able to take the feedback and use it to move forward in the lesson this relates to timing. Feedback should "Feed Forward" this can mean the teacher not giving feedback to every student and possibly the student sharing the feedback with another pupil. This can also be feedback working for the next lesson.

Two types of learners successful learners and struggling learners. Clearly there will be different students and personalities to deal with when giving feedback. Feedback needs to be tailored to students separately when dealing with a successful and struggling student if a student is struggling they will not receive information. A successful student may just want confirmation they are doing the right thing while a struggling student may need extra work to move on from a specific subject.
