Tun Dr Mahathir was born on 10th july 1925 in seberang perak, Alor Star, which is the capital of the state of Kedah in Malaysia but his father officially registered Tun’s date of birth on 20th December 1925. His father, Mr Mohammad B. Iskandar, was the first Malay Headmaster of the government English School in Alor Star which is now called the Sultan Abdul Hamid College. His father was born in year 1880.
