Levando em consideração a resposta do jabuti, acredito que possa ter sido um avestruz, que tem "estômago de ferro" e costuma comer de tudo. Este animal, tem o tamanho para alcançar o pote e poderia colocar a cabeça dentro do pote e, ao ficar presa nele, acabou por quebrá-lo.

·         Quais as possibilidades? No livro é citado o nome de vários animais: asno, cabrito, anta, sagui, sapo, marreco, tamanduá, galo, porco, vaca, rinoceronte e jabuti. Além de um último verso que diz: “Quem causou essa bagunça tem estômago de ferro e viu no pote de barro uma boa guloseima”. Por este motivo acho que não foi nenhum animal e sim o vento que dependendo da força destrói tudo por onde passa.
