The Great Migration was the tragic cause of 6 million African Americans to move from the South side to the North side, Midwest to West, which would be a walk to say for itself. The townspeople did not like this, however. They got mad by this, as they were being taken by their homes to go through the country from about 1916 to 1970.

Their fashion was splendid to see, to say the least. What women wore in the early 1920's looked like the most beautiful robes with tips and tears at the bottom of it that looked really necessary for it. The ladies liked it, too, but, they thought it was time for a change a couple years later, they changed them to look a bit more like dresses.
