         <description><![CDATA[<div>Pablo Picasso was born in Spain in 1881, and when he was 19 years old he went to live in Paris. Beetween 1901 and 1904 was Picasso's Blue Period and betwheen 1904 and 1906 was Picasso's Rose Period.<br>In 1907 Picasso met a French artist and suclptor Georges Braque and Juan Gris, another Spanish artist, who painted Partroit of Pablo Picasso (1912).<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cubism was an important beacuse it was the first style of astract art and it influenced a lot of other artists. It was the start of modern art.<br>Cubist artist didn't want to paint a copy of real life, they used geometric shpoes to represent people and things.<br>One example was the painting "Harlquin with a Guitar by Juan Gris" (1917)<br>Pablo Picasso, George Braque and Juan Gris painted the characteristic partsof an image, and they included the different perspectives of an object in the some picture.Another examplewas the paint Patroit of Pablo Picasso by Juan Gris (1912). </div>]]></description>
