Lunch Bunch will be run like a Professional Learning Community, PLC, in that the group will create and establish Norms (Missouri Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling Program, 2015, p. 7), or group rules, which will be repeated by group members at the beginning of each time of meeting. Norms constructed will benefit group time, but students will also need guidelines along the duration of the six weeks which will be similar to Participant Guideline Resource attached below.
Example Norms are:
- Respect one another's opinion.
- Promote what is best for the group.
- Respect each other's privacy. What goes on in group, stays in group.
- Not a time for technology use unless part of skill being taught.
