a) urbanization is occurring at an unprecedented rate and there is an increased stress on water resources and it's becoming one of the major challenges facing our cities of the future . numerous cities have outgrown their local water supplies with the closest surface water sources tapped and groundwater resources being exploited .  whether wealthy or not , all the countries in the world all have the same goal managing our precious water resources in a sustainable way.  cities are viewed as a place of hope for a better life but in developing countries most migrants to cities end up in slums and shanty towns on the outskirts with no water services and over 2.5 billion live without any form of sanitation and lack of water which threatens the lives of millions of people especially the poor and children in developing countries.  
B)
 1)  providing sustainable water services to the growing urban population is the greatest challenge 
2) with climate change pressures cities will increasingly  experience difficulties in efficiently managing scarce  and less reliable water resources as well as in coping with floods and droughts .
3) with the rising demands for water many cities having to rely on more distant water sources .
C ) 
This post is significant as it shows that water is precious and although we can obtain water very easily , others may not . It brings to light the truth about how big of a problem the lack of water was , and that we cannot take it for granted. It connects and relates back to geography as it is the study for the world, where there is data collected, that shows water is insuffient.

a ) this is a complex crisis and all the answers are hidden in history.When ukrainian President yanukovich's government was overthrown by protesters in 2014 crimea was annexed by russia and the peninsula became part of the Russian speaking east of ukraine. When crimea became independent in 1991 crimea joined the russian speaking east it was given special autonomy but this did not mean very much to russians living on the other side of the border in crimea. For putin this was crimea's liberation and for the rest of the world this was the beginning of what would become known as the second world war, which began in 1914 with the fall of France and the start of World War I. 

b ) 
1. I learnmt that war and violence is never the answer to  a conflict. It harms many , including innocent civilans who did nothing wrong. 
2. I learnt that past decisions affect the future and that we should make wise and careful decisions.
3. i Learnt that The Russo-Ukrainian War is an ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. It began following the Ukrainian Revolution of Dignity, and initially focused on the status of Crimea and the Donbas, internationally recognised as part of Ukraine.
c ) it is significant as it is a worldly problem, and that it is serious , and could affect many future lives and countires. We should be aware of these problems so we know what to learn and not do .
