Unfortunately, all of those people are hopelessly trying to reach the thing that they're calling "happiness" without even questioning it's meaning. What's happiness, after all? A moment? A place? A song? A person? Sometimes, happiness is hidden in all of these, but our minds aren't focused on the present. Maybe we're still caught up in past or maybe we're dreaming about a bright future. So, in my point of view, the main ingredient for being happy is actually living at the time being. The only way to maintain a state in which you're content with yourself  and your life is to make every second worth, to take chances and to be connected to other people that are living in the same time as you. It's that indescribable feeling you get just because of a smile, a laugh, a hug. Seeing all the details you never noticed can make you understand how precious life is. Hearing the faint sound of laughter coming from the park, seeing a dog jumping around while wiggling his tail, listening to the raindrops hitting against the windows, listening to an upbeat song in your headphones while humming to it quietly, enjoying a nice cup of tea and reading a good book. These are the little things that, to me, make all the difference between a good and a great day. It doesn't take much to put a smile on someone's face, even if it's just for a second.
