As stated before radio waves have the longest wavelengths on the electromagnetic spectrum. The wavelengths of radio waves can range from the size of a water bottle to the diameter of the Earth. Also they have the lowest frequencies this just means they have the least energy of all the waves. That being said they are still extremely useful in the world today. The frequency of the waves are measured in Hz and the wavelength is measured in meters.

Radio waves have many uses, and this section will go over a few. The first one is the most obvious use of them all. Radio waves are used to broadcast to radios. Radios use their antenna to pick up certain waves lengths and signals and then the signals tell the speakers how to vibrate so we hear what we hear . The second use is to broadcast signal to television. So not only do these signals broadcast the sounds but they also broadcast the exact configuration the lights on your tv must follow. The third one is that you can send out wave lengths to find out what lies out there in the galaxy and universe. Scientist must use giant antennas measuring up to three football fields to send and recieve these radio waves . The fourth and final use of radio waves I will be talking about is how we use them for phone calls. When we call someone radio waves emit from our phone to an antenna or satellite and then they are sent back to the desired location/device.

Radio waves can be extremely harmful, but only in extreme concentration. So when we listen to the radio or use our phones we aren't causing major harm to our bodies, but after awhile they could cause minor effects.

This wave that will be disscused on this Padlet is the radio wave . The radio wave is the lowest wave on the electromagnetic spectrum. This means that radio waves have the lowest frequency and the longest wavelengths. For those of you who don't know the electromagnetic spectrum is all of the frequencies of electromagnetic radiation from lowest to highest. And by that I mean longest wavelengths with low frequencies to shortest wavelengths to highest frequencies.
