Prayer
Each Muslim must Pray five times a day to thank Allah for all the things he has given us. There are many things to be thankful for, that even if you wrote all of them down, it would be endless. There are five times of when to pray, one is during sunrise called Fajr, and one in the afternoon known as Dhuhr, another in the evening called Asr, Maghrib, is when the sun is going down, and the last one is before you go to bed known as Isha'a. There is a place of worship known as a Mosque. A Mosque is the "House of Allah" it is called that because, In the Qur'an (Holy book) Allah says that a Mosque should be honored, and that it is a remembrance of Allah's power and how almighty he is.

Pilgrimage
In every Muslims life, he/she must go to what is called Hajj. It is an important part to a Muslim person because, the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) lived in Mecca, and many of the verses from the Qur'an mention "Hajj." When you go to hajj you pray towards the Kaaba (or the black cube in the middle.)One thing to keep in mind is that, Hajj is very expensive and if you can afford it that is great, but if you can't that is not a sin. But if you already went and want to go again and are financially able, the best thing to do is give someone who hasn't done Hajj yet in their life the opportunity to go. You will get more hasanat (good sins) for doing so.

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) says that you should wear your best clothing that you own and spend time with your family. Eid is to celebrate how healthy we are, the first Eid is after Ramadan, and the second one is in the Fall time. This is a very fun holiday and very exciting to experience!

You might've seen a woman wearing a scarf around her head wondering why she wears it. Well you are in luck! I will explain why Muslim woman and other different religions wear a hijab. So, when a woman is ready to wear a hijab she will. This is a big step for most woman because, you can't take it off and you must wear it around men not including your grandparents and parents, and siblings. A hijab is a modest piece of clothing that protects a woman. Think about it this way. If you had to choose between a unwrapped jolly rancher or a wrapped jolly rancher? The wrapped one right. Think about it like a covered woman or a bathing suit model. Body is the same, but one is covered and one is not. I'm not saying bathing suit models aren't modest, it is just a comparison. There are many hijabi women that are models who I look up to.
