Since they are poorer, the economic damage wouldn't be as much as MEDCs. The social impacts would be much more severe as they are less capable of responding to the hazard and have worse infrastructure.

MEDCs are usually well prepared to withstand hazards. Since they are richer, there would be more economic damage simply because there is more to break and disrupt. The social impacts would be less than LEDCs becase they have better infrastructures, organisation, and funds in the case of a destructive hazard.
