I was about five years old when I moved from California to Appleton, Wisconsin. This was the first time I ever moved across the state, and was introduce to another place with people I have never seen before. Luckily, we were able to settle in pretty quick thanks to my uncles.

After I moved to Appleton, Wisconsin, I had to attend a new school with new kids that I never interacted with before. I remember holding my dad's hand and waiting in line. This was one of the first moment in my life when I was independent, and I remember being stuck in the hallway, not knowing where to go. This was when I felt alone for the first time.

After I came back to Sacramento, California, I had to adjusted to a new school. I was fortunate enough to meet a group of girls that I have grown closer with over the year. They were the first real group of friends that I had, and they were amazing, funny, and cheerful.

On my first day of school, I was nervous. Because I was transfer to another district to another one, I had to restart the whole process again, in which I had to meet new people and new environment. I was lost, didn't know where to go, and tried my best to make friends. This was also right after we got out of COVID and the pandemic.

The giver was introduced to me through a college class I took while in high school. It is still one of my favorite movies of all time. It really opened my eye to the world, and to know that while the world tries to purge evil and bad stuff out of our society, we cannot because evil and good has to coexist.

This was one of the first dystopian books that I read in my English class. It was a significant book that really taught me the real, harsh reality, that sometimes the government is trying to take our knowledge, referencing banning books, so they can control us.

The day I got my glasses was life-changing. After 17 years without them, I felt like I was finally able to see the world with my glasses. It was also the day that I never knew that my eyesight was a lot worse than I thought it was. But I can finally see clearly now!

When COVID happen, it was an altering change in my life. I had to get adjusted from being at school with my friends to being online in my house on zoom, for school. It was a fun moment for me, I was able to make friends online, while enjoying school in my own comfort zone at school.

While, this was my sister's wedding, it still had a lot of impact on me. This was the moment that my dear sister, the one I grew up with, is now starting a new chapter with her loved one. This was also the moment that I had stay goodbye to her, adjusting my life, so I can still be independent.

Having a new home was like a breath of fresh air. After staying in a broken down home, in a bad neighborhood, it was so nice being in a peaceful home. I was so happy being in a new environment, knowing I can start a new beginning.
