The key thing to do after rejection is to think about what happened? did i prepare enough? did my confidence lack? did i not show the panel my personality. After your interview ask for detailed feedback, from this you can learn and grow from it.
Remember though, interview feedback can sometimes be bland and unhelpful, so do seek out other genuinely useful feedback where possible. You could seek the advice of an HR professional and try out a mock interview in order to practice and get some constructive criticism

Practice is an essential part in securing a placement. You need to research the business and practice answer competency based questions. This will allow you to be more prepared and should help calm your nerves. One positive outlook to focus on after a failed interview is that it could have been a sign that that business was not the right place for you. There are better suited opportunities out there for you and with the practice and feedback from failed interviews you will be able to get your dream placement!
