         <description><![CDATA[<div>important to remember that amount of content instruction that can be accomplished during the first few weeks while engaging in PBIS/community building/teaching of procedures<br><br>SPED is at somewhat of an advantage here because we've had students in<br><br>Teachers may have to look at a variety of instructional models based on the makeup of in-person vs. remote students<br><br>Life skills will look at some overflow classroom settings to accommodate various instructional modalities<br><br>Paras are overwhelmingly happy with kids coming back and will roll with what we have...flexibility for the win!<br><br>It's been frustrating seeing the demands on students from content area classes this year while we were supposed to be focusing on SEL issues to begin with<br><br>SPED teachers in general are trying to not stress out about the overall situation<br><br>Important to give not only our students grace, but ourselves as well.  Some things may not work for our specific situations, but we need to both be okay with something not work AND ready to flex to something different</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students should be required to login to remote still when in class to interact with all peers.<br><br>Modeling through Zoom share and projected in class.<br><br>Have students use online instructional programs for part of class time (teachers discussing different blocks of the class period for this time).<br><br>Use of GoGuardian with the online programs will enable us to immediately help students struggling independently on a lesson.<br><br>Students have not been using online programs thus far despite the direction to do it and watching on GoGuardian<br><br>Expansion of fluency lessons (6-minute fluency)<br><br>Paras uncertain currently of when they will be able to provide instructional support<br><br>Two-day lesson cycle approach with stations...activities run concurrently with digital for remote students and paper/direct for in-person students<br><br>We would still like to have our kids here for the full M-Th week!<br><br>Time management is going to be critical for our kids to get through the length of the periods...build in breaks!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Do we have an answer on the disposition of our current small groups yet, most specifically 1.) can these kids continue to come 4 days a week, and 2.) what happens with our 7th and 8th grade small group students in the week-ish between start dates?<br><br>How can we ensure information such as the reduction in use time for KN95s is immediately shared with staff?<br><br>Can time schedules be adjusted for life skills to bring students in earlier to keep the kiddos out of the general melee of students arriving, i.e., staggered start and end times?<br><br>Can we reiterate again with content area teachers about having some grace and helping resource students (nearly every parent conversation and/or iEP meeting involves pleas about SS and Science being too stressful, overwhelming, and downright difficult)?<br><br>Is there any additional space available for life skills in the building? <br><br>Will we ever have access to additional paras if we find ourselves in a critical need at the moment?  Can we have a pool of available paras each day to draw from?  (Need dynamic coverage of paras)<br><br>Need specific (written, please) guidance on how to handle passing times for multi-grade classrooms and multi-grade teachers<br><br>Can we please have a specific plan for students waiting in passing periods outside the portables (space, supervision to maintain distancing/prevent horseplay)?<br><br>Will para numbers be returned to pre-remote numbers?<br><br>Both life skills classes seem understaffed currently.  It is requiring closer supervision in order to maintain social distancing among students.  To maintain that distance it is often meaning teachers do not get duty-free breaks and/or lunches at times.<br><br>Can life skills get licenses for SuccessMaker?</div>]]></description>
