My name is Sami Rashid, this is my timeline work to show the process of my projects. I already have an idea for my FMP. I would like to create a 2D Animation using Illustrator. The sketch will be like this picture and then I will add them all together to create the animation sequence.

What software will i use? i will be using Illustrator to draw the outline of myself each frames and then on After Effects to add the effects and filter to make it look better and more exciting

After considering a lot of ideas about my FINAL MAJOR PROJECT (FMP) I have decided upon creating a 2D animation sequence.This idea is what I would like to do the most, because I want to develop my skills in this area. I have created one in the past which I really enjoyed doing. It is quite interesting and exciting. The only challenge will be the time it takes to create one. So I believe I have just enough time to finalise my idea. I am determined to create one and demonstrate my ideas and skills.

The idea is to create a 2D animation, using Illustrator and then using After Effects to create effects on the video.I have been inspired most of all by Alan Becker on Youtube;

While undertaking further research, I found an example of a similar style as my idea. This sample is a longer clip and shows more actions and developed techniques.

Intro Video

I would like to add an intro of my work before the animation video, to show that it is my work and I am proud of it. I will use my logo and incorporate it into the intro video on After Effects

Camera

What camera will I use? It is highly probable it will be a GPro 3+ or I could hire Canon Camera from Jessops

Logo Development

while designing the logo, I realised that my first logo is a bit too much, and has too many details. So, I decided to design something simpler and better which shows clearer image of my logo. This is my preferred logo.

Tripod

Maybe I will use a tripod to shoot smoothly and to make it look professional.

Cast and Crew

Not many cast or crew needed. Just one more person to do the filming for me. and then I can convert this into images and sequences then draw the outline of the subject. So the members of the crew are to be confirmed.
