On the year of 2001, on September 11th, two hijacked US jets came flying into the World Trade center. Was the 9/11 attack really carried out by our government? If it weren't our government then why didn't the government stop the hijacked planes? Many unanswered questions are what make the 9/11 conspiracy so interesting.
 It is interesting to think about why the US government wouldn't even care to stop the attack, especially from a country that the United States already had problems with. RJ Lee had an explanation to this, as well as many other theorists, according to "9/11 conspiracy theories: How they've evolved." (BBC NEWS). Lee questions why the most powerful air force couldn't intercept the hijacked planes. Many along with Lee believe that former vice president Dick Cheney had ordered the interceptors to stand down from the attack, and let it continue. Another one of Lee's questions ask why the Twin Towers collapsed so quickly. According to RJ Lee's "9/11 conspiracy theories: How they've evolved" (BBC NEWS), Lee states that there were only fires on a couple of upper floors. And in that case, if there were only a couple of fires that lasted a couple of hours, then the towers shouldn't have collapsed so soon. A very interesting theory that was introduced by "Debunking the 9/11 Myths: Special Report - The Pentagon." (Popular Mechanics). The theory stated that the planes weren't detected until it was too late, but that seems very unlikely knowing that the US has high tech radar systems. In conclusion, there are many theories pointing towards the government, and theories pointing towards an unnoticed terrorist attack. One could think differently, I personally think that it were the governments fault due to so much evidence against the government. But only to-be-classified documents will tell
