Liv Arnesen has a very negative attitude and a dislike towards eating oatmeal in lines 10 through 18. According to the text, it states, “My least favorite of the dried food was the dreaded oatmeal. Neither Ann nor I was particularly fond of oatmeal, especially when it was laced with cooking oil to add extra fat.” This evidence describes how Arnesen does not like oatmeal, and that her friend Ann does not like it either, especially when it is laced in cooking oil to add more fat. According to the text it also states, “It tasted like oat-flavored glue and left an oily residue in my mouth.” This evidence describes that Arnesen is comparing the oatmeal to glue, and how she didn’t like it due to the texture and the taste left in her mouth.

Liv Arnesen's attitude toward eating oatmeal in lines 10-18 is unappealing. A detail on how Liv is unappealed with eating oatmeal is in lines 10-12, it states, “Neither Ann or I was particularly fond of oatmeal, especially when it was laced with cooking oil to add extra fat. It tasted like oat-flavored glue and left an oily residue in my mouth.” This shows that Liv didn’t really enjoy the flavor or taste of oatmeal as it left a residue inside her mouth. Another detail on how Liv is unappealed with eating oatmeal is in lines 15-16, it states, “And if we didn’t raise our food intake accordingly, our bodies would start to consume themselves, feeding on muscle to avoid starvation.” This shows how even though Liv didn’t enjoy eating oatmeal, she still has to or else her body will consume muscle just to avoid starving to death. This is how Liv feels unappealed towards eating oatmeal.

Liv Arnesen’s attitude towards eating oatmeal is disgusted because she dislikes oatmeal and has to eat it for her to survive. According to the text,” My least favorite of the dried food was the dreaded oatmeal. Neither Ann nor I was particularly fond of oatmeal,- It tasted like oat-flavored glue and left an oily residue in my mouth” This evidence shows that both she and her sister are not a fan of oatmeal because of how it tasted. The text also states that” But it was the most efficient way to make a dent in the high-calorie diet we had to consume each day to stay healthy.” This evidence demonstrates that they needed to eat oatmeal for them to keep living even if they did not like it. Overall, this is what Liv Arnesen’s attitude towards eating oatmeal was.

Liv Arnesen’s attitude toward oatmeal is that she is opposed to it. For instance, the text states: “My least favorite of the dried food was the dreaded oatmeal”. This example shows that Liv dislikes the taste of it. To add on, Liv also states: “Especially when it was laced with cooking oil to add extra fat. It tasted like oat-flavored glue and left an oily residue in my mouth”. This example shows that since they have to add oil for extra fat, it leaves a weird aftertaste for them which makes her dislike it. Therefore, Liv Arnesen’s opinion towards the oatmeal is that she was opposed to the food.

Liv Arnesen’s attitude towards oatmeal is Negative because she didn’t like it but had to eat it for her diet. For example, in paragraph 10 it states, “It tasted like oat-flavored glue left an oily residue in my mouth.”. This piece of evidence supports my claim because, the way she’s explaining how it tastes in their mouth and smells. In addition, in paragraph 11 it also states, “My least favorite of the dried food was dreaded oatmeal.”. This states, oatmeal is not her favorite food to eat even when it's dry or cooked because of how it tastes. In conclusion, this tells us that the Author has a negative attitude towards oatmeal because of the way it tastes in your mouth, and that feeling of the aftertaste that was in their mouth.

Liv Arnesen's attitude toward eating oatmeal is negative . For instance the text states that “Neither Ann nor I was particularly fond of oatmeal, especially when it was laced with cooking oil to add extra fat.” This explains why Liv attitude was negative. To add on the text also states that “My least favorite of the dried food was the dreaded oatmeal. This also explains why her attitude was negative.

The attitude Liv Arnesen’s shows towards eating oatmeal in lines 10 through 18 is that the oatmeal is healthy but se doesn't like it . In the text it states “But it was the most efficient way to make a dent in the high calorie diet we had to consume each day to stay healthy”. This evidence states that the oatmeal is healthy and works well to cut down on a lot of calories they had for a day. Another evidence in the text states” My least favorite of the dried food was the dreaded. Neither Ann nor I was particularly fond of oatmeal, especially when it was laced with cooking oil to add extra fat . This evidence shows that neither Liv nor liv didn't like oatmeal because they didn't like how it takes. Moreover Liv and Ann doesn't like oatmeal because it's tasted bad.

The central idea of the lines 19-29, is how the journey was for her and how she survived and lived for the past time she was there. For example, in the text it states, “Our tent was a red tunnel of fabric with two small foyers, one at the tent opening and the other at the rear”. This piece of evidence tells us how they lived by telling us their tent was set up, and how she was able to get out and inside of her tent. In addition, in the text it also states, “But it was the most efficient way to make a dent in the high calories diet we had to consume each day to stay healthy.”. This also states what she ate in the Arctic, so she can survive because if she didn’t her body would starve and she would die. In conclusion, this tells us how Liv survived and lived in the Antarctic for the time she was there.
