WHO AM I TO THE WORLD??

To the world, I am many things. As a student, I am a learner, constantly growing and pushing myself to understand more. I strive to improve and create something meaningful. As a daughter, I am part of my family’s story. I bring joy, challenges, and love in my own way. I may not always say it, but I care deeply and do my best to support and make my family proud. As a friend, I love deeply, listen with an open heart, and stand by the people I care about. I try to be present, to offer comfort, laughter, and unwavering support. I cherish the connections I have and do my best to make life a little brighter for those around me. I may not always see my impact, but I know I matter—to my family, my friends, and the future I’m building.

My WordArt about Globalization

For this WordArt, I chose the theme of Global Apparel Brands because clothing is one of the most visible effects of globalization. The brands I included—like Nike, Adidas, Zara, H&M, Uniqlo, Levi's, and others—are all well-known across the world and available in many countries, including the Philippines.

I used a T-shirt shape to symbolize fashion and clothing. The mix of bright colors and bold fonts represents the energy and diversity of the fashion industry. I placed the more globally dominant brands in larger sizes to reflect their influence.

This WordArt shows how these international companies have become part of our daily lives, thanks to globalization. They influence our styles, what we see in malls, and even social media trends.

Strengths of the ASEAN:

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is built on unity and cooperation among 10 diverse nations. Its greatest strength lies in how it promotes peace, stability, and economic growth across the region. ASEAN countries support each other through trade, education, disaster response, cultural exchange, and regional agreements. The collaboration between these nations makes ASEAN stronger in facing global challenges like climate change, health crises, and digital transformation.

The cultural diversity of ASEAN is also a strength. Each country has its own identity, yet they all work together as one community. This unity in diversity is shown through their traditions, languages, products, and shared goals.

The Future of ASEAN:

ASEAN’s future looks bright. It has the potential to become a global hub for innovation, sustainability, and youth leadership. With investments in digital technology, green energy, and regional integration, ASEAN is preparing for the demands of the modern world.

As long as ASEAN continues to promote inclusivity, strengthen partnerships, and empower its citizens—especially the youth—it can play a big role in solving regional and even global issues. The dream of “One Vision, One Identity, One Community” will continue to guide ASEAN toward a better, stronger future.

Chosen Religion: Buddhism

Why I Chose Buddhism

Buddhism teaches a way of life focused on peace, mindfulness, and inner growth. If I were to choose another religion, I would choose Buddhism because of its principles and doctrines that align with a calm and meaningful life.

Core Principles That Inspired Me:

The Four Noble Truths

Life involves suffering (dukkha)

Suffering comes from desire

Ending desire ends suffering

There is a path to end suffering

I admire how Buddhism accepts that pain is real, but teaches how to rise above it—not by ignoring it, but by understanding and controlling it.

The Eightfold Path

A guide to living ethically and mindfully:

Right View, Right Intention

Right Speech, Right Action

Right Livelihood, Right Effort

Right Mindfulness, Right Concentration

This path is very practical. It’s like a personal code of conduct for living a balanced and compassionate life.

Karma and Rebirth

What you do affects your future—not just in this life but in the next.
This reminds me to act kindly and think long-term, not just for myself but for others too.

Non-violence (Ahimsa) and Compassion

All life is sacred.

Buddhists avoid harming others in thought, word, or deed.

This inspires me to be more empathetic, to respond with kindness even when it's difficult.

Final Thought:

I chose Buddhism because it teaches how to master yourself—not just to believe in something, but to live it daily with awareness and compassion. It’s a peaceful path I admire.
