A word I found yesterday is the word "Squint". A squint is when someone partially closes their eyes usually due to a REALLY bright light.
A sentence example is: "I wanted to see something, but the Sun's light was too bright, so I squinted my eyes to see."

Another word I found was alleyway, an antonym for the word being blockage.
A sentence for this word is:"I was walking through my town when I heard a cat meowing in a nearby alleyway."

Conflict

One of the main conflicts in this story is built up by other small conflicts. Let's start with the basics: Donald Zinkoff is a 10 year old boy by chapter 15. In chapter 15, Zinkoff had some bad manners with his parents and didn't have a good time at school.

In chapter 13, Zinkoff gets his surgery and is no longer able to go outside, making him REALLY bored. He is only able to walk around his room and look outside the window for a long amount of time.

In chapter 14, It appears that Zinkoff hasn't been outside of his room much, as everyday items seem to amuse him.

In my vision, due to the previous 2 chapters, Zinkoff's current conflict is a Man vs. Self conflict, as he is facing boredom at its best.

My favorite character in this book is, of course,Donald Zinkoff. He is silly and courageous, always doing what he puts his mind to.

He's also a bit relatable. Whenever i'm bored, I also tend to look out the window or think about random things. I like going to school and seeing my friends aswell!

On Monday I had to do my job, the Imaginative Illustrator where I drew a picture/found an image of something related to our book.

Today we discussed our jobs and learned more about Jerry Spinelli, along with questions that came along as well such as "How'd you find this out?" or "How long did this take you?'

In the next few chapters, though it is hard to predict, I believe that Zinkoff will still have hard times, but will also have some good times with his parents, maybe become good friends with the old lady, as the text shows they've had good times together.

My current thoughts on the book are a bit wild, since things are changing suddenly, but I honestly like it and would like to keep reading!

This week I had another job. I was the excellent evaluator, where I rated parts of the book, along with my group's discussion last week.

I rated the overall book a 4.5/5 due to a slight. confusion of what was going on, but a good cast of characters and plot.

Our discussion, however, wasn't as great. If I could give and overall score it would be a 3/5. We weren't really great at discussion or working together.

Though its not the best book in the library, I would still recommend this book to a few friends.

One last thing is a question. Would I consider re-reading this? Nope.. I really don't like to re-read books unless there's something i've missed.
