Freedom: In many ways, the book involves freedom. An excvellent example is when, at the start of the book David escapes from the concentration camp, finally gaining freedom. Another example that I have in mind, is like an expresion. For example, a moment in the story David saves a girl from fire, which can be expressed as freeing her from the flames.
In this book we can see extraordinaly how freedom can be represented by a lot of ways, like escaping from something, from a situation or a place, or also feeling free, as a represented emotion on the characters. For example, when David feels that he is free when he is in nature, without having to answer to anybody.

in I am David freedom is very important because all the book is about after he went out from the concentration camp. During the book we can see how freedom start to appear more and more in david´s life.

Freedom is important in the book I´am David becuase it is one of the aspects that are more visibel and noticeable. One example could be when he scapes from the concentration camp and other could be when he scapes from the farm with the dog.

I my opinion this theme is theme more represented in the whole story, because it start when David leave the concentration camp and also he is also repeating that he want to be free

Freedom is a very much covered topic in this book, not only in explicit terms (for example when David scapes from the concentration Camp, and he becomes physically ¨free¨) But also in implicit terms, which would be like an emotional freedom. It also touches the issue of freedom of expression, which David lacks because of a social mandate, and because he is a ¨fugitive¨ since he scape. The part I liked the most was when david starts connecting with nature, finally feeling peace.

I think that freedom is the main topic of the story because David is constantly trying to escape from the germans so that he dont return to the concentration camp so that he can be free and do what he want, but without takin the rights of the others, as he says.

David’s journey, from the start, in the concentration camp, until the end has been about finding freedom. He first leaves the camp,
looking for a life where he didn’t have to follow the rules from the nazi guards (them/they). Eventhough David felt free, he wasn’t completely free from “them” since he was a fugitive. He didn’t want to go back to the camps because he wasn't free in them, and insisted on finding a “free” country, free from the Nazis and violence. In chapter eight, he finally finds a free country, Denmark, where his mother Edith lived.
There are many ways in which Anne Holm shows freedom, like nature and running.

Freedoom,the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants.Freedom plays a very very importanrtant roll in the book.Since David leves the camp, a new world is present to him.Now he is his own master, owner of his deciones.None can stop him, due to his new and unknown power of freedom after leaving the camp.He is redescovering new things, which make him fullfil,happy,free and nothing and won't stop that, if he stils free heart and soul.

I can say that freedom in this book is the great engine that encourages the character to continue doing things, and to create the development of the nove, which ends in the atrouse the reader.

From the book as regards freedom, I can say that these is a theme that is really respresented in the whole story. David suffered because he could not be free by living in the condition in which he lived. In the concentration camp he was treated in a horrible way, until one night he escape, and knew what freedom was.

The novel portrays and explores many themes along the story. Freedom is
one of the motifs that most stands out. After he jumped the fence he is finally free from misery and violence. He got to know new things and be able to make his own decisions, he was finally able to survey this feeling. His whole journey was towards a destination free from hatred and full of freedom.

This theme is expressed in many forms, such as escaping from a place, being the owner of your own life and being able to decide things for yourself.

As regards freedom in the story I can say that it is a theme that it is really showed all along the novel. David was living in the concentration camp where he was treated in a very bad way. He suffer a lot living there. One night he finally decided to escape. Since that day he started feeling free because que was not suffering of violence anymore. He had a very long trip until Denmark where he was completely free.

Freedom is very important and relevant for the story, because David escapes from the concentrationt camp in search for freedom, since he was all his life in the concentration camp and he didn´t know nothing about be free , and is represented very good in the story, because is the theme of the hole novel.
