Evidence: If you follow the instructions, the POW kits will always heat the water above the correct temperature for pasteurization (65°C), but some people didn’t follow the instructions so didn't work but if you do it will  work I know this  because in the text it states "These kits are designed to heat water to a high enough temperature that any harmful bacteria are killed, making the water safe to drink. The people of Louis Island used the pasteurization kits until some residents got sick, reporting symptoms like stomach pain, diarrhea, vomiting, and fever." Also it quote on quote says some redients got sick which  means that mostly everyone else it seemed to work fine with and had no symptoms of anything because they did it properly vs the people that got sick because if they didn't read the instructions vs the people that did or else everyone would be sick if the kits or invective  but it says only some so that why I choose claim 1 because obviously it worked with alot of people vs just a few it did not because they didn't read it carefully.

With the POW kit if used will kill the bacteria in you water making your water drinkable.

For example, 58% of the people used exactly 2 litters, while the other 42% had used less or more than 2 litters, possibly getting them different results. Another reason I chose this claim is because the people didn't get the water from the same source. Over half of them used Lake Bogo while the other percent used a totally different body of water, creating another variable. If you follow the instructions , the POW kit will always heat the water who w the correct temperature for pasteuriztion, but some people didn't follow the instructions. The reason you have to heat the water to 65 degrees Celsius is because the bacteria the lives in the water can't survive above that temperature causing it to the making the water drinkable. I don't doubt that some people don't follow the directions completely because some people get impatient.     • Louis Island Man-When the man used the cube to heat up the water from Whip River for his children the first time it worked well but, since he didn’t re-heat the cube the water didn’t get hot enough so the bacteria stayed causing him to get sick.
    • Louis Island Woman-According to the data Lake Bogo’s water is cooler than Whip River so when she heated the cube for the same amount of time a the Man (15 minutes for 2 liters) the bacteria would still be alive since it’s not hot enough.
