Some of these people were celebrating their last high school cross country season.

My parents would not let outside to run. I couldn’t do much. This was my first attempt to make chocolate covered strawberries. All of them don’t looked their best but they sure tasted great!

You could now go places only if you wore a mask, stayed 6 feet apart and where ever you were at there was a limited amount of people. I had finally convinced my parents to let me go outside and run. After all I was going to run by myself (since our season was canceled). In May I decided to focus more on my mileage. It was my first time doing 10 miles!!!!

I started feeling very insecure about my appearance. I started not liking myself. One day I decided to do my makeup, do my hair, get my nails done and put on a beautiful outfit just for me. This really helped me. I wasn’t going to go out but it just helped me feel better about myself.

I hadn’t seen my friends in a long time. I decided to take my friends out to eat and to explore the woods. I saw a frog 🐸!
Things started to feel a little more normal. The whole felt like a dream. A year ago I was running with more that 300 people in a same room and now I couldn’t be in a room if there is 6 people. Everything felt so unreal, how everything quickly change. How the virus spread so fast. But at last everything started to “calm down”.
