This is Santi's spontaneous creation from yesterday. Yesterday we were working on our English lesson. We were reading short books and were finding and copying as much words as we could with some especific sounds. When we finished, we started counting how many words did every body wrote. So santi started making tallys for each word he could wrote. I didn't say anything to him because I saw he was working on the tally charts we had just worked on last week and he was making an awesome connection. So after that, the turned his miniwhiteboard to the other side and started numbering the tallys, and after that he said: "This makes me think about some addition and subtraction number sentences, I will also do as much as I can!". So he started doing them very quickly and really exited. This experience made me think about the concepts, understanding and the connections kids can do between subjects, and applying maths into every single situation and moments of their lifes.
