         <title>Page 39 chapter 13 the author is now talking in Jack&#39;s point of  view. The chapter begins with the title &quot; Top 8 things I hate about cancer&quot;. As i read the list the thing that hit me as powerful is that Jack is only talking out of personal experience. He talks about how the cancer had a part on ruining his family and how it took a toll on his life. He says &quot; When your dad gets diagnosed sophomore year the week after you find out he has been cheating on your mom&quot; i think the author wrote this to show emotion and to show how his home-life is.  </title>
