The study skills and/or habits that worked well for me are to keep going forward through any circumstance and to keep trying until I succeed.

The study skills and/or habits that worked so-so are sometimes cramming my homework and multi-tasking my workload.

The study skills and/or habits that didn’t work for me are having no breaks whenever studying in a cluttered or distracting environment and procrastinating my workload by delaying until the last minute.

SMART Goals

S - My goals for Math in this term are to achieve a high grade, learn new things, and immerse with my classmates and teachers.

M - I will track my progress in math by setting clear goals, regularly practicing and assessing my skills, monitoring my performance, and seeking feedback to ensure improvement.

A - I plan to achieve this goals by not just working hard but to also work more intelligently to do things efficiently. The ones who will support me to help me achieve these goals are my friends and family. They can help me by supporting me morally and mentally because I know that they believe that I can achieve these goals.

R - These goals are important as they enable me to develop valuable skills, boost confidence, and create opportunities for academic success and more.

T - I would probably achieve these goals of mine by the end of the term because that is the end of the term wherein I have learned from all my mistakes and achieved more knowledge to achieve my goals.

Most Challenging/Difficult Task

In my opinion, the most difficult task for the term would be the periodical exam. The periodical exam will be most difficult because it consists of every topic that we have learned during the 2nd term and that we need go over again those topics to remaster all of them so that we would be able to answer the questions in the exam with less difficulty.

2 Ways to Deal with the Task

Preparing for the Exam. I should study regularly, practice, solving problems, and not cram at the last minute.
Staying calm during the Exam. I should take deep breaths, read instructions carefully, and not stay stuck in one question to be able to manage my time wisely.

A Misconception

One misconception I have during this term is the difference between big s statistics and small s statistics.

My best work would probably be the Long Test #3 about the Measures of Dispersion on statistics. This would be my best work because I was able to get a perfect score on this test. I also tried my best to earn it.

Collaborations

There weren’t really any collaborative activities that happen during this term but there were some where you pair up with anyone you desired and work on some pretty difficult problems that are new to us. Usually, I collaborate with my classmates who sit behind and beside me.

Nature of the Misconception

The nature of the difference of big S statistics and small s statistics is that a lot of people do not really get the major and significant differences between the two but the recent long test hast proven me wrong.

How I learned and addressed.

I learned that there is a difference between the two. Big S statistics refer to the scope of the entire population, while small s statistics is specific to the sample. Big S statistics is fixed and unknown and small s statistics is variable and calculated from the data. I addressed the problem by identifying and surveying for answers on he problem by asking my classmates and tutor on what the difference is.
