Is our plastic problem a catch-22? Why or why not? Yes, because if we get rid of it, it might cause more problems in the future. And even if we don't it still causes a whole bunch of enviroment pollution.

  • What overall message does the creator of this video want to convey?  That trash is taking over the oceans.  
  •  Why do you think that? They show us all these gyres in the ocean filled with trash.  
  •  Name at least ONE technique shown in the video to help convey that message.  They used graphics, and what caught my attention is when it showed the year 2050, they used a balance of trash and fish.  They said by this year that it, plastic, would be heavier than all the fish in the world.

    The type of plastic number.   
    Find a plastic container in the classroom (water bottle, hand sanitizer, etc.) and determine the plastic code on the bottle. How should that container be recycled? 
    #2, to be thrown in the recycling bin.
