In a struggle to arrest Sitting Bull, police killed him. Sioux tried to flee to safety. Army troops surrounded them at Wounded Knee Creek in South Dakota. Troops opened fire on the Native Americans with machine guns and rifles.They killed 200 Sioux men, women, and children. </div>]]></description>
