No one inspires me to take the STEM strand so I chose this strand because it contained the course I had to take when I went to college and I believed in myself that whatever test came to me I could overcome. The STEM strand also allows us to develop mental habits that will help us to succeed in any field. In my olden days my dream is to be flight attendant, not until pandemic happens. I realize that one of the reason why our country is not healing is because of lack of professionals, many graduated nurses and doctors are leaving our country to have bigger salary. Ofcourse the reason behind all of my ambition is my making my family proud and being able to give them a better life that they deserve. All the poeple I love and being able to help the people in need is my major reason in taking STEM. To be honest, being a nurse was never my dream. My mom was the one who wanted me to become a nurse but I disagreed and told her that I want to be a doctor. The hard truth was given to me when my dad personally talked to me about my dreams being impossible because of money. I hated the idea of becoming a nurse which would only remind me of my dream job but all of that changed because of Grandma. To me, my Grandma is the most important person in my life. At such a young age I've always been skeptical of what would happen if she suddenly left and joined my grandpa in heaven, as much as it pains me to think about it, that time will surely come and if ever that happens, I want to be the one to take care of her before her time. I want to help her extend her life and happiness with all of us, to lessen the pain she's experiencing, and to make sure she's taken good care of just like how she took care of me ever since I was an infant. My Grandma was the sole reason why i'm studying hard to achieve my dream and I think that STEM is the most appropriate strand to help me move forward on my journey as an aspiring nurse
