Title: Political worksheet 

What do we mean by the term Politics? It is the process of making decisions applying to all memebers of groups. It is the position of governance . Organised control over a human community.

What is a government? The group of with the authority to govern a country or state.

What is an ideology? a system of ideas and ideals, especially one which forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy.

Describe a democratic system. A system of government in which power is vested in the people, who rule directly or through freely elected representatives .

Explain what is Political theatre . A political theatre is when drama uses political issues as their theme.

Describe communism . Communism is all means of production are owned in common rather than individual .

Describe a Capitalist system . A capitalist system is an economic and a. Ideology based on private ownership f the means of production and their operation of profit.

Distinguish between the House of Commons and the house of Lords . The House of Commons, Parliament's lower house, is made up of about 650 elected Members of Parliament (MPs). It makes laws, controls the government's finances, and keeps a close eye on government administration. The House of Lords, Parliament's upper house, consists of over 700 Lords.making and shaping laws and checking and challenging the government

What role in society do you think Political play writes have? I think that they have the role of sending out messages to the world and talking about the facts that what we go through in society and what politics does to us.

The importance of drinking water as a singer and actor.
Water is one of the important things in life. The flexibility of your vocal chords and the tone of your singing voice all depend directly on the amount of water in your body. Drinking enough water throughout the day will mean that you have enough fluid to keep your body and your voice prepared to carry out all the processes that we take for granted but are actually so vital to our well-being. Before a performance, make sure that you have been sipping water steadily throughout the half hour before you go on stage, as it takes about twenty minutes for the water to get into your system and into your vocal chords. This will keep your vocal instrument ‘well hydrated, flexible and ready to provide the best possible tone and range that you need to give your best performance. This is really good for singer and and this can apply to actors as well. Drinking enough water is such a simple thing to do and, together with your vocal warm up, is an essential part of your preparation for the big event.

The importance of drinking water as a dancer.
Water is a necessary complement of the balanced dancer diet. Dancers need to drink a lot of water as they are active a lot and can get tired also they can feel hydrated.Every dancer's fluid needs, as with energy requirements, is specific to the individual. To avoid dehydration, experts recommend that an average person should consume around 2 litres or 8 glasses of fluid every day, with at least half of this to be in the form of water. Specifically to dancers, they will require more fluids per day due to the loss through dance classes and performances

Description of the play: Magna Carta
 King John is king of England and he has all power over England. Angry barons decide to set a meeting to discuss the actions of king john for example “ he demands even higher taxes to pay for his futile wars in France” and “ stealing “lands”. Rebels advance towards the king to make sure he stops what he is doing and he is not doing his job as a king and doing whatever he wants. Fitzwalter and his troops march into London and the people of London cheer him on. King John refuses to talk to the traitors but he has no choice as on the 15^th of June 1215 at Runnymede king john is presented with 63 documents which he has to agree on.

 The character I play in Magna Carta is the archbishop and the archbishop is at the top of the hierarchy of the feudalistic system and my volume when I am play the archbishop is excellent as I am audible and I make sure that I pronounce my words clearly so that the audience can hear me clearly and understand what I am saying.
 what I need improving on is when I am reading my lines I need to pause and not say it all at once as I need to show my character to be effective and being at the top of the hierarchy I need to pause in between my lines.

Learning lines

 When I perform the brexit scene I use good body language to project the character that I am supposed to be. When I perform my role as archbishop I am masterful and walk proudly in style as an archbishop would walk in the middle ages with confidence and how they look down on people. My facial expression would be serious and straight- faced as I am above people and a serious person.

Concentration. Sometimes I cannot be focused on the task given to me.

When I am working in a group I find it very easy as I can communicate with my team and we all contribute and can quickly get into the task that we are given. When I am working on the dance routine I need to work on my timing as I am out of time.
