This anime called “A Silent Voice” basically he’s just kind of there when he grows up and reflects on his past mistakes and just live with the flow. The main character used to be a bully, when he was a kid, and he would bully this deaf girl and broke her ear piece and got out casted. As he’s now in high school he tries to fix what he did but he really is just going with the flow and be to himself. Same with my book the main character didn’t do the best back then and doesn’t believe in himself even till now and he’s just going with the flow of like, being by himself.

The song starts off with “ain’t these supposed to be my glory days?” Saying how people said the youth would be is nothing like it. He hasn’t been living life at all. The song also sings “so I try not to feel at all“ the main character really doesn’t care about much and just does whatever to alleviate his pain and go with the flow of life.
