Requirements:

1. 听Schoology 上 Lesson 2《我的亲戚》的课文录音，练习几遍，直到你可以流利地读出来，然后：

Choice 1: 自己录音，上传到Schoology。

Choice 2: 把课文用手写下来，拍照片上传。

Listen to the text recording on Schoology, practice several times until you read it fluently, then:

Choice 1: record your own text reading and submit it to Schoology.

Choice 2: copy the dialogue down by hand on your notebook/one piece of paper, then take a photo to submit to Schoology (Recommend choice 2 if the reading is very easy for you).

2. 想一想怎么介绍你自己的大家庭。

Think about how to introduce your own extended family based on what you learned from Lesson 2. Try to use several paragraphs (no need to write them down now).

预习功课 Preview Homework

预习第一单元第一课课文和ETK词语。Preview the U1L1 Text and the new words.

Learning objective: Be familiar with the new words and understand the general idea of the text.

Requirements:

1. 预习第一单元课本第1-3页第一课的课文，听Schoology上的录音，理解文章大意，准备好在课堂上回答问题。Preview Unit 1 Lesson 1 on booklet pages 1-3. Listen to the recording on Schoology to understand the main idea of the text. Be ready to answer questions in class (teachers can list the questions on Schoology in advance）.

2. 学习ETK Quizlet，把生词、拼音和意思抄写两遍。Check the Quizlet for the ETK. Write down the pinyin and meaning for the ETKs twice in your notebook.

个人阅读项目 Personalised Reading Program （long-term homework）

Learning objectives: Cultivate language sense, expand vocabulary and improve the four basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in Chinese. Understand all aspects of society, culture and life, increase knowledge and broaden vision.

Requirements:

要求每周除了中文课上学到的文章之外，大家至少阅读两篇课外文章，并做好阅读日志或者学习反思。有时候老师会指定文章，有时候自己选。自己选择时，可以选TCB网站上 level 4-6的新闻、网络或图书馆一些书上的文章。

In addition to the articles learned in Chinese class, everyone is required to read two extracurricular articles every week, and keep a reading log or study reflection. Sometimes the teacher will assign articles, and sometimes the students will choose articles by themselves. When choosing by the students, they can choose level 4-6 articles on the TCB website, articles on the Internet or some books they like.
