The most important food security issue in our community is climate change. People in our community could grow their own gardens. It has been proven that by growing your own food, you are provided with so many benefits. Community gardens are cable of providing fresh air, nutrients to soil, and can cancel out sound pollution. Community gardens would allow for more people to access food. Not only that, community gardens are also able to boost mental health and encourage relaxation.

We can take actions by using a reusable bottle/cup for beverages on the go, reusable grocery bags, and not just for groceries. Purchase wisely and recycle. Compost it! Avoid single-use food and drink containers and utensils. Buy secondhand items and donate used goods.

we can use old food husks for our benefit some of the time have protein for our body counting that we can use it in plants and other things like tree and husks of food that doesn't fit "we throw it away in the trash!"

The most important security issue in our community is climate change because climate change is harming the world with intense droughts, heat waves, and rising sea levels. All this is causing plants to be less productive and making most plant species die. Rising sea levels are effecting plants by increasing salinity in estuaries can make marsh soil saltier. As well as trees have to work harder to take water out of salty soil; with that being the case, their growth can be shocked.

The most important food security issue in our community is Poverty because prices for food has been increasing. And with that homeless people or people that does not have money can't buy food. To stop it we can try to bring down health/food prices down

In my personal view, the lack of access to an sustainable system displays the most significance. I believe this because this matter is not only a menacing threat to the human society, it's also a substantial danger to the earth itself to. Humans need food to thrive, but we need industries for the production of our everyday matters. But at the same, our industrial responsibilities are endangering us because of how fast the earths materials are depleting, this jeopardizes our food supply. In a brief explanation, the lack of sustainable choices don't only affect the human race greatly, it puts the earth in danger to. How could we fix this? My idea is that we can create an organization, although many of these exist, society barely pays attention to them. That's why we should create an organization that's boosted by the government. This could greatly capture the media and many more peoples eyes. The organization can assist food insecure families and communities and greatly influence the media to do better things that will aid the earth and our environment.

My drawing defines how the world is being affected by climate change. For example, the smoke coming from the earth is all the toxic air that’s hazardous. The picture above the earth is how the people on earth will be living if we don't prevent the tragedy climate change will bring. The girls’ pig in the photo has passed because the air and grass wasn’t healthy for it anymore(Even though pigs will eat anything.). So this is why I know we hav to stop climate change!

-Based on our Unit four Consumption Issues survey, the biggest concern in our community is climate change. Therefore, all the global scholars in our school made a poster to raise awareness of this issue.
-We created a survey to see if people had any misconceptions about recycling.
-After we collected the data, the global scholars worked in groups on Power Point Presentation to inform the community of the right way to recycle.
-The presentation was shown to the community and informed them how to recycle correctly.
