The Maya civilization lasted from 3,500 years. The people of this great city had four social classes starting from the ruler, priest, nobles, peasants, and slaves. These people all had a purpose rulers would take care of the political stuff and make the events. Priests would make the sacrifices happen to please the many gods they have also they were the only ones who knew how to read. Nobles would be given certain roll like leading the military, scribes, and etc. peasant would take care of the crops and would pretty much provide for they're village. Slaves we all know what they do they just follow orders for other people.

The culture of the Maya involved lots of things from nature, astronomy, and rituals. They also had believed their were more than 160 gods one example is the sun god. They were also very famous for their calender's, rituals, and hieroglyphics. These rituals would include human and animal sacrifices. Why they would do such things is because they had to keep their gods healthy but they only sacrifice a high status criminal/prisoner. They also made temples that looked very close and similar looking to pyramids from Egyptian times. They also learned and adapted some things like making roads, calender's, and hieroglyphs.

One of the most greatest civilization right behind the Olmec the Aztec. This great city had first appeared in 1345 and lasted till 1521. This great civilization had many great inventions like creating a school for children no matter what gender you were, popcorn, hot chocolate, and etc. They also had a religion called Mesoamerica which is very similar to the Mayan religion/culture except the Aztec would only sacrafice humans instead of animals and humans. The religion also focused on the sun god Huitzilopochtli.

The people of the Aztec empire also had social classes which were nobles and commoners. The two of the classes all did something.nobles either be military leader, government official, high level priest, or a ruler. the commoners would be farmers, low level priest, and etc. Warriors of the Aztec were hired as mercenaries most of the time and were thought as crude barbarians.
