The students also did not seem to understand the layout of the school, so when it was announced where the intruder was, the kids were have trouble visualizing where they needed to go or if they were in a place they needed to lockdown. Or something so that the information is readily accessible to the people in that classroom at that time. We also should make it clear that if a teacher covered a homeroom that morning and there is an evacuation, they are to report to that homeroom to take attendance. This also means that maybe every emergency folder should have a roster for every homeroom.
