Today was my first ever drama lesson with all new classes and teachers, lets just say that its a huge contrast to last year. So today we did some fun games such as (oh), A+B and the Toilet paper game (first time I've heard of it). so basically (oh) is techniqually like splat but differences involve a lot more movements and communication than splat. Then A+B was based on speaking and listening, I was partnered up with someone I didn't know what so ever he's name was Cam he made me feel really comfortable. (I was a bit nervous) So I was A and he was B, so I had to listen to his story and tell it back to the whole group. Talking to the group was quite scary but I had to be confident and believe in myself. And last but not least The Toilet Paper game not goanna lie but it sounded very peculiar but it was easy enough to understand. So basically we each had to take a bit of tissue the number of segments we had was the number of facts we had to tell to the group. Me being me took 7, 7 whole facts about myself to a group of strangers, however it felt good to talk to the whole group and let them listen to me, cause usually am the quieted one who doesn't say much. overall all the games were fun and a brilliant way to start the 2 years with these talented people.

After the games we wrote down how/what is a story, we all worked in groups of 4s

Then I was partnered up with Tom lynch, and we had to make up a story about a pencil so we called the pencil penny. we decided to make the pencil have magical abilities so when you wrote with it you were destined to receive a high mark. And we added a moral as well so at the end the young boy loses the pen but still passes all of his GCSEs, which shows you don't need magic to be smart.

Wednesday 14th September 2016

Today we done a warm up exercise called 'space bounce' which was ran by Luke. Basically it's like 'yes lets' but two are in space at the same time.

Then we played the 'game of power' which was basically we had 5 chairs and 1 table and a bottle of water and we had to make 1 of the chairs more powerful than the rest. (Different positions and layout)

Friday 16th September 2016

Caller and robot: rustration
I was in a pair with Mitch and we had to pick a situation, so we called caller and robot so we took this situation and made it our own. I was the robot and Mitch was the caller and basically he called to pay his phone bill but the robot (me) was making it very difficult.
So we worked on our comedic abilities as actors and also helping us worked quickerly and professionally.

We also talked as a group on improv games and how they are useful for us. One of the games was the marker pen and we each had to go into the middle and make the marker into anything e.g. Phone, wand it was funny.
