         <description><![CDATA[<div>Trash accumulates in 5 ocean garbage patches, the largest one being the Great Pacific Garbage Patch in which it impacts our health and economies<br><br>Percentage of plastic that sinks is 80 and 20% stays afloat<br><br>Plastic bags stays in our ocean for 500 years<br><br>8 million plastic finds their way to the ocean every year<br><br>When animals eat the plastic it leads to liver function, kidney and production problems <br><br>We use 1 trillion plastic in a year<br><br>80% of land garbage go in go in sea/ocean making only 20% getting disposed or recycled this means we don't recycle plastic as we should <br><br>The biggest waster/plastics polluters are China Indonesia Philippines Vietnam Thailand and Sri Lanka<br><br>Plastic, in general, all takes months and years to break down, for example, a plastic bottle itself takes 500 years to break down <br><br>A landfill at the edge of the manila bay in the Philippines covers an area 123.5 acres equivalent to 200 tennis court of plastics<br><br> Boats and ships dumping rubbish. 14 billion pounds of rubbish go into the ocean, 85% coming from boat<br><br>Products from humans gone down the drain ( Sanitary products, wet wipes etc)<br><br>Plastic is cheap and affordable to manufacture. Companies produce 300 million tones of plastic a year half of which is only used once.<br><br>Slow decompostition rate.<br><br>Humans and companies not recycling plastic that can be recycled.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When animals eat the plastic it leads to liver function, kidney and production problems <br><br>44% of all seabird species, along with cetaceans and sea turtle have been documented to have plastic debris in or even around their bodies.<br><br>Around the world, an estimated one million birds and 100,000 marine mammals and sea turtles die due to plastic pollution in our seas and the species misleading it from food<br><br>The Wildlife Trusts say it is estimated that 177 species of reptiles, mammals, and fish are at risk  because of the mass amount of plastic in the ocean<br><br>90% of plastic all sea birds has swallowed and 90% fishes in the ocean have eaten at least one piece of plastic<br><br>Birds have a full stomach of Plastics <br>We eat the fish the plastic 90% of fishes ate plastics<br><br>92.6 Americans adults have BPA in their systems BPA is not 100% safe <br><br>Plastic gets clogged up in Gyres. A gyre is a circular current often plastic end up concentrating there  <br><br>The most dangerous emissions can be caused by burning plastics containing substances like PVC which is toxic to living organisms and humans on earth it also damages our air by this toxics<br><br>The fishes that eat the microplastics or plastics in general from our oceans and then we eat the fishes making us eat all the toxins and plastics they eat and got into their systems and their body growth meaning the meat of the fish etc.<br><br>There are many Ocean species and marine animals on the verge of death/excitation for instants the Kemp’s Ridley sea turtle is dying because of plastic being mislead by food and their habitats are being clogged up by plastics   <br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To fix this Plastic pollution they need to fix the behavior of the people littering and damaging not only the earth our sea life to quoted an Environmentalist<br><br>A device was designed to turn plastic to their original form this device is called a plasma torch it heats up the plastic up to 1000–15,000°C but when heating the plastic it does not release any toxins into our atmosphere instead releasing vapor<br><br>Germany was the first country to implement a policy for organizations to take care of their packaging or plastics with machines these machines are located nearly everywhere in Germany. This policy is particularly aimed to promote eco-friendly packaging and to stay away from plastics.<br><br>Plastic Bank creates social and environmental impact in areas with high levels of poverty and plastic pollution by turning plastic waste into a currency for people to use and buy everyday products like re-usable Drink bottle and also life supplies like food.<br><br>Avani Eco made was a 100% Biodegradable plastic bag out of cassava a root vegetable, this bag is biodegradable and deportable it also dissolves in water so if somehow this bag go to the ocean it will degrade faster than an animal finding this bag to eat <br><br>Ellen MacArthur Foundation trying to find solutions to plastic $2m new plastic economy innovation like getting away the disposable cups e.g Trio Cups and Secondly making Gladwrap from trees to get rid of the traditional glad wrap<br><br>Another solution is making an Eco-Friendly plastic design competition so entrepreneurs that are not as fortunate to big amounts of money to push out their products will have a chance in people who have money to view their product as potential investments like the Plastic Economy Prize<br><br>There was another product that was a sauce sachet made out of seaweed that can be eaten or dissolved in water and even feed to plants <br><br></div>]]></description>
