Each student will need white construction paper. In the middle, students draw (or print out) a picture of the cover of the book. Then, they draw lines from the photo to the edges of the construction paper. For this assignment, students will describe the most important events of WWII. After the students are finished, they will color the different sections.

Ideas for each section:
  • When did the Holocaust begin?
  • What was the cause of the Holocaust?
  • What is Behind the Bedroom wall about?
  • What are lessons that we can draw from the Holocaust?
  • What is your favorite quote from the book?
