I would most want to avoid contact with a short faced bear . It is believed that they could run up to 40 miles per hr and weigh up to 1500lbs.  Their feet weren’t turned in they were straight forward facing which helped them with speed.

So the Tiger used its claws to wipe out its prey and used its teeth to finish the animal off. Getting back to Giant Sloths, they are 8 ft tall! Compared to the average 11 year old which is roughly about 56.7 ft, we are midgets to them. And yes, it may look like a teddy bear but really it's sharp claws can do some serious damage.
