Why would Thomas all of a sudden not trust one of his best friends when they are in a tough situation? I know that Thomas knows that he has the flare but that doesn't mean that he can't trust him at all. There is a chance that the flare hasn't even reached his brain yet, so I don't understand why Thomas is so worried about what he is doing at all times and if he might be doing something wrong. I hope that Thomas gets his trust back in his friend and that they keep being friends because I think that Thomas might be a little lost in life if he does catch the flare completely.

A word that the author used to help me picture the scene was brilliant light. It was a strong word because it described the scene with more detail than just the word bright or something that is used more often. The author could have also just left the word brilliant out altogether and just had the word light there but he decided to put it in because it helped the reader picture it in their head and describe what Thomas was seeing more clearly.

I wonder why Thomas all of a sudden doesn't care that Teresa and him can't talk through their heads anymore? Before that was one of the reasons why he didn't let WICKED remove the swipe from him. I think that he thinks that Teresa turned on them since they were left behind at the place that WICKED had brought them to. I think that he is going to try to forget about Teresa and if they ever see each other again then I think that Thomas will just ignore her and keep going on with his life without her.

I agree with Jorge when he says that something seems different about Denver. I think this because I remember when Thomas went to talk to Gally he said that the Munies were starting to just disappear into thin air it seemed like it., I think that the streets are so quiet is because that there are so many people vanishing around the town. I think that this will keep happening until Thomas goes back to WICKED to continue to help then finish the trials.

What does the guard mean when he says what's been going on lately. I feel like they Cranks are getting worse then what they were doing before. I feel like there is more killing going on between the Cranks and it is hard to get in without losing parts of you. I think that he is trying to tell them that it is dangerous to go in there and they might not get back out alive or safe from the rest of the Cranks.

I think the person that grabs the back of Thomas's shirt is a Crank that is going to hurt him. I think that this relates to what the guard had said about what's been going on lately because they are getting more crazy and they are attacking more of the people that visit or other Cranks. They scared Thomas really badly but he didn't want to show it so he stood still. I think that he thought that if he moved that they would attack him if he moved.

Why didn't Thomas think that it would be a good time to look at the note that Newt had given him before he went to try to get him to come back with him. I am surprised that Thomas failed his friend like that and didn't even go back to fix the mistakes that he had made. I think that Newt wanted Thomas to kill him because he knew that things would get out of control and that he wouldn't be able to control himself anymore so it would be better if Thomas had just killed him instead.

I think that Thomas was so scared of those people was because he has been through so much with WICKED and doesn't know who to trust anymore. When he found out that it was the Right Arm that was taking in all of these people I think that Thomas relaxed a little because he knew that they were on the side fighting against WICKED and from what Gally had told them, they were only doing things for the good. I wonder what Thomas's reaction to finding out that they are the Right Arm is going to be in the book.

I don't understand how Brenda would know how kit felt for Thomas and Minho because from what the author has put into the book know one that she has known has become a Crank. I liked how she was being kind to Thomas but if she was lying and Thomas found out I think that he would be pretty mad at her. I think he would be able to forgive her but it would take time for her to regain his trust again.

I think that Right Arm is collecting the immunes to get in WICKED's headquarters is because they think that if they blend in with the other immunes then it will be easier for them to be distracted from what they are doing. Then the other guards from Right Arm will be able to sneak in and stop the trials from continuing for a longer amount of time, which might help start curing the disease that are creating the Cranks that fill the cities. If Thomas is one of the immunes that goes into WICKED's headquarters then he might get caught since they wanted him to come back in the first place to finish the trials. It would be the same thing if Brenda, Minho, or any of the others that were a part of the trials went in. It would be an easy catch for WICKED and they wouldn't complete what they had came there to do, stop the trials for good.
