Some people can be happy without freedom, but most often they come to realize that the way they are living is suffocating and that they need to leave. Simply looking at a child will prove this. Babies are dependent on their parents, they are not free to do as they choose, they have to listen to their parents and most often they're fine with it. However, as the child grows older, it will begin to seek more and more freedom. Walking by themselves, going to movies without their parents, driving, and eventually moving away.
