- Provide significant spaces for the encounter, recognition, appreciation, acceptance and respect for the diversity and socio-cultural and linguistic uniqueness of the English language-culture and Latin American language-culture.
- Promote participation in basic situations of communicative interaction in English language-culture such as conversations, sharing experiences and expressing preferences/likes, presentations and individual or group oral descriptions. Thus, the student progressively acquires strategies in oral practice.
- Provide meaningful experiences that offer varied opportunities to explore and create, and favor the comprehension and production of oral and written texts (reading comprehension of texts and audiovisual activities, multiple choice and true/false of texts and audiovisual materials, filling charts, filling gap exercises, writing sentences describing themselves and others, and writing short paragraphs properly following and respecting the English grammar and style.)
