1.1.1 Understand independently the main ideas in simple longer texts or a range of familiar topics.

Instruction:

1. Students will be given a short break before starting the listening session. 

2. After that, students will listen carefully to the text that is read by the Teacher.

3. After listening, students will be required to comment on the text based on their understanding. 

INSTUCTIONS OF ACTIVITY :

1. Teacher enters the class and is greeted by pupils. Teacher starts explaining on the activity and the instructions of this activity.

2. Teacher starts the lesson of the day and includes the theme of topic in the lesson

3. Teacher provides pupils some class discussion for a few minutes before concluding the lesson

4. Teacher explains to pupils that this task is to be carried out online so pupils will have to complete this task and upload their work via Padlet during the weekends

5. Submission of work and appropriate correction will be given to pupils on Padlet under the " COMMENT " section down below

6. Teacher recaps the lesson by asking a few questions to pupils regarding the lesson in class and dismisses the class

Instruction:

1. Teacher will give instructions and topic for the debate.

2. Teacher will give time to discuss with the groupmates .

3. After the discussion the 2 groups can start to debate .

2. Pupils are given the worksheets and are assigned to a few minutes to carry this activity out in class. They will have to read the instructions given on the worksheet

   and do accordingly

3. By the end of the activity, teacher will provide necessary correction to pupils and recap the lesson learnt again so pupils are aware of what they have done in class and is able to follow along

4. Teacher concludes the lesson by explaining on how their speaking skills can be improved through this activity and dismisses the class

4. Teacher provides constructive feedback and continues on with the lesson in class

5. Teacher recaps the lesson by asking pupils if they have any doubts regarding this lesson and answering any doubt before concluding the lesson

1. The teacher will hand out a task to the students to do a role play scenario based on the topic.

2. Teacher divides the students into small groups each group all representing a different aspect of Malaysian culture such as the food and clothing.

3. Students will access the website of the worksheet that stated in the platform.

2. Students will listen to the audio and answer the questions in the kahoot link given to practice their pronunciation.
