The city is very popular for its casinos, hotels, and exciting nightlife. There are 653,843 inhabitants but more than 2.000.000 people live in its surroundings.
The most common means of transportation are buses, taxis and the monorail. The typical dishes are mainly ribs, Shrimp cocktails and hot dogs, there are not a lot of typical dishes.

Electric Daisy Carnival: One of the world's largest electronic music festivals, held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in May.
It is a spectacle of sound and light, Electric Daisy Carnival presents the best EDM DJs and production artists in the industry. The event lasts three days in Las Vegas, Nevada. You can look at colorful jewelry selections and there are a lot of summer outfits. The event is about carnival theme, there are circus performances, elaborate rides, and lofty art installations. 
There are more than 300.000 people in this festival.
