Hi everybody!
We're Vittoria, Davide, Rebecca, Antonella and Aurora and we're italian students(16 years old). We're from Modena and we attend a language high school in our city. We share the passion of languages and, like "perfect" Italians, we love travelling around the world.
First of all, we have to dispel the myth of "sporty" Italians because, a part from Davide, we're really lazy and we prefer lying on the sofa, watching Tv series, eating our italian tasty food, like pizza, carbonara, tortellini..We know you're very envious of us in this moment!!(we're jocking..)
The last topic we want to talk about is music. Nowadays the majority of Italian teenagers listens only to english singers, but it's very important the story of our music and we love listening to it.
But now we're curious to know something about you!!

We are a group of Italian students and our names are Elisa, Doina, Davide, Giovanna and Ludovica. We are sixteen and we attend the language high school IIS Selmi in Modena, near Bologna, in northern Italy.
We study English and French, some of us study German and the others Spanish. Obviously all of us love travelling and this year our school trip will be in Edimburgh.
As italians we really love eating: from Pizza and pasta to Tiramisù.
We also practice sport: some of us play basketball and the others go to the gym.
We are very curious to compare ourselves to you.

South VS North Italy

Hi everyone!
We are Alice and Martina, and we are from Modena, a city in the north of Italy. We are athletic girls, in fact we practice volleyball and hiphop. People reckon that we are reserved and indifferent because of our provenance, but actually we are the life of the party!!

…And we are Francesco and Carla, we live in Modena but we are from Naples! We are really lazy: we love sleeping and watching tv. Everyone thinks that we are thieves, but it’s Alice and Martina who everyday steal us our snacks…

So these stereotypes are not true!!
However we have a lot of things in common, for example we love eating food and we are really good cooks!! So here we are with our typical dishes: Babà and tortelloni!

Ciao! We are Ilaria, Giorgia, Alessandro, Rossella and Giorgia.

We are five italian students, we live in Modena. We are a special class because half of us study German and the other Spanish but we all learn French and English.

There are many stereotypes about Italians:

-we are famous for our gesture all over the world and that’s quite true, in fact it’s natural for us to use our hands while we are talking;

-people think that we eat pizza every day, but that’s not true, unfortunately we ONLY have it once or twice a week, while pasta is our religion (and by pasta we don’t mean only spaghetti with tomato sauce);

-we are known for our beauty and that’s it (just kidding, look at our photo!);

-we are the worst at singing even though we live in the same city of Pavarotti.

We’re excited to get to know you and your culture but also your stereotypes even if they’re not true.

Hello everyone! Our names are Sofia, Greta, Carmen and Simone. We are Italian students 16 and 17 years old. We are from Modena, a city near Bologna in the north of Italy. In our city there are many typical foods that we can separate in first plate, second course, desserts and wines.
At first course we have:
- Tortellini, a ring-shaped pasta stuffed with a mix of meats
- tortelloni, with the same shape of tortellini but bigger
