My role as an autism specialist is to support, advocate and guide all service providers, staff and families who interact and function with individuals with ASD. I will utilize my professional and personal experiences in order to choose appropriate assessments, create behavior plans, implement supports & tools, find resources for families and prepare students to become functioning members of society. I will conduct and organize professional developments, IEP meetings, staff meetings, and more in order to best support individuals with ASD and create a team that can support students effectively and efficiently.
