For my interview, I interviewed my brother, Rohan, who is a senior at UCI studying EECS.

How has AI affected your work insofar?
What is your prediction on AI vs Human intelligence in the next 10 years?
What do you think will happen when AI gets smarter than humans?

Rohan's work primarily involves lower level technology than AI can currently carry out. He says that while programming -- being a text based modality -- is particularly subject to displacement by AI, his work, which is more on the computer engineering and architecture design level, is still too abstract for AI to grasp.

Rohan has a pessimistic opinion of AI. He values the human touch of quality work from the mind of someone who worked hard to build something exceptional. He pursues this in all of his work and isn't very concerned with the unverified output of an AI.

Despite his pessimistic opinion of AI, he recognizes that there is irrefutable evidence that AI will eventually overtake most if not all humans in intelligence. He thinks that while this may sound shocking now, humans will adjust and learn to live happy lives in this situation.

I made it by sketching the idea and then running it through an AI augmentation tool. I then overlayed and faded the two images together.

From left to right, the image is created in a progressively larger portion by AI, but this also represents the chronological shift from human intelligence to artificial intelligence that we will see in the near future.
