I believe this is about being blind-sighted when presented with opportunity. The man as pictured here is blindfolded, and compared to the rest of the image, the blindfold sticks out as lively, more vibrant. He is presented with this vast, open world quite literally before his eyes, and yet he cannot see that opportunity to explore that lively world.

I think this art exudes the everlasting growth of creative freedom. On the outside, you see the color differences and see that the stem of the woman/or the flower appears gray and she seems to have no expression on her face, but when we get to her head, there is a burst of bright colors and designs. This can signify the beauty of artistic expression and as well, emotional or mental healing. On the outside she is cold but on the inside she is warm. Mentally, she is growing and blooming as a sunflower, as she is healing.
