My point of view about the ethics of human cloning is that there's is not a need or a cause why we should kill a human embryo to make therapeutic cloning, I also think that cloning a human to have the exact DNA as another individual makes the human race to don't have variety in the traits and that could result in awfull things.

I believe that cloning itself is not the issue. The technology will land humankind there sooner or later. Thus, humans need to have philosophical conversations about the most complex ethical questions. For example, cloning animals for food is acceptable to solve third-world hunger? What criteria should be used to pick the sequences of genes to be cloned, for example for organ replacement (enhancement/diversity/aesthetics)? If we can harvest human organs at will, could we abuse them freely, such as smoking?

It can be seen that human cloning is a significantly subjective context, which implies the worldviews and perception of each person towards life and existence. As a consequence, i consider that Human cloning enables the origin of a fundamental advancement on scientific methodology, and would allow us as a society to progress into feasible solutions to an extensive range of problematics. However, if human cloning is implied as a principal concept as a solution for daily-life conflicts, it can enable the origin of a series of negative implications towards individualization, freedom of expression, evolution, natural selection and social contexts related to racial supremacy and ideology.
~ Manuela Ortiz León

I think the human cloning topic has already a big impact in our daily lives and this website us transmit that. Not a long time ago a friend of us told us he is having a baby in 9 months from an artificial created embryo that was frozen two years ago. They could not have children in a natural way so the decide to go for this option. I don’t think this is classified as human cloning but it a huge technical development in the medicine. This makes us think that creating organs artificially might be also possible soon or it is already possible? I believe it would be nice to get to know thru your website which is the current state of the biggest on-going researchs.

I think that the main problem of human cloning relies in the uncertainty of the posible result. As every science experiment, there is a percentage of error, and us as humans we're designed to evolve according to our environment (Darwin’s theory of evolution); altering that DNA (trying to replicate it) can mean that instead of evolving, we do the exact same opposite, and evolve but backwards. That would mean that the progress of humans being can get slower and that wouldn’t bring benefits to our society.

I think that with human cloning we are stoping the variety of characteristics among humans, because human cloning makes an exact copy of an individual so we stop the variation of genes created in sexual reproduction, this could be very harmful for society because if there is another pandemic(hope not) human race can become extinct because the variation among humans create antibodies that could help fight that bacteria or virus, but if all humans have the same characteristics the could not have the antibodies or elements that could save them.
