Found in colder, mountainous areas and forest, Grey Wolves live in packs of 7-8. They require a habitat that allows for decent protection and cover. Within their packs there is an Alpha male and an alpha female. The alpha is generally in charge of the on goings within the pack. They communicate through, barks whines, growls, and/or howls. They have one partner for life and only the Alpha male and female are to mate with each other. Physically, Grey Wolves are about six and a half feet long and weigh somewhere around 100 pounds, they are also anywhere between two and a half and three feet tall. Their fur color varies depending on their environment. Their fur is very dense as well, to keep insulated during the cold.
