By doing this, it proved which liquid prevented browning the best and which the worst. Five different fruits and vegetables were used and seven different liquids. Each item was placed into the liquids for an hour and a half. After the time ran out, the items were placed on the paper towel for thirty more minutes.

Buy the items- Items listed above. 

Fill the different bowls- Each bowl with 1 cup of each liquid.

Label each bowl- Note each liquid and item placed into the bowl.

Cut each item and set it into each liquid.

When each item is placed into the liquids, set a timer- 1 ½ hours

Once the timer beeps- Place all the items onto a paper towel

When the items are on the towel- Set another timer for 30 minutes
Once the second timer beeps- observe all the items and record data

Lemon juice is acidic which prevents browning. Vinegar has a pH level of 2.4-3.0.
